Bio
Chiara Cesalli was born in 1989 and grew up among the lakes and valleys of Southern Switzerland.
During her formative years, she discovered—almost by chance—the world of illustration and comics, developing a profound love for this art form. She decided to pursue this passion professionally by enrolling in the Comics and Illustration program at the Fine Arts Academy of Bologna, from which she graduated in 2019. She then continued with a second-level course in Language of Comics, also in Bologna, graduating with honors in 2024.
Her years at the Academy further strengthened both her enthusiasm for comics and her engagement with social issues. Through her work, she aims to narrate the world by blending current events with fiction, raising awareness against all forms of social injustice.
